A floorball stick stuffed with the most innovative technologies - that is Salming Quest1 X-Shaft Kick Zone TipCurve 3° Junior for right-handed players. Its 92cm-long, medium hard (30 hardness) shaft is made of 60% of carbon and 40% of fibreglass, which means that it is ideal for players who prefer technical play. The X3M Grip Pro handgrip is underlaid with foam and offers firm grip when playing, great sweat absorption, no unwanted slipping and long service life. The Quest1 stick features the new Salming KickZone technology, the X-Shaft shaft and the Quest1 blade - everything in a beautiful orange and yellow design. This stick will perfectly serve the players who like the most innovative technologies.
The KickZone technology comes from the best lines of sticks made by Salming. This technology delivers an increased whip-effect meaning that the shaft when bent is kicking back faster and thereby hitting the ball with greater power. This effect is achieved by the special shape of the shaft's bend. The wall of the shaft is 1mm lower in its narrowest point, which delivers greater flexibility without sacrificing the hardness of the shaft. This narrowed zone, which ends at the blade, bends more and gives your shots more power.
The X-Shaft technology makes the blade a bit thinner than what you might be used to and also has got a bit narrower KickZone. When X-Shaft connects with KickZone, the lower part of the stick bends and creates a whip-effect. The whole process can be compared to a bow shot - the balls you shoot are incredibly accurate and fly at a very high speed.
The lightest of the Quest blades weighs just 72g and has got a surface of 181cm2 - that is the Quest1 blade. It will perfectly serve the players who like wrist shots since the light blade will give their shots outstanding speed, making it impossible for goalkeepers to react and save the shot. The 7.2mm depth of the blade is also designed for wrist shots. It stretches along the whole surface of the blade and increases the force of your shots. The Quest1 blade features the exceptional Trident technology, which transfers force from the handle to the blade and retains the integrity of the stick. The Torsion Lid system provides the blade with hardness by filling the holes between the grids of the heel area. Another great attribute of the blade is its Toe Drag design, which allows you to control the ball more easily.
The TipCurve technology means the reverse-curve of the shaft in its lower part. It creates the optimal angle between floor and the stick, which means that you can shot without further curving of the blade's heel, which is, therefore, easier to control and you can pass the ball with ease. There are three variations: -2°, 3° and 5°. Salming Quest1 features the 3° variation.
This floorball stick is IFF-certified for competitive matches.
