Vážený produktový manažéri Alzy, Neviem či ste absolvovali súkromnú informatickú fakultu vysokej školy v Užhorode, ale MTBF znamená Mean time between failure, nie mean time before failure.

Seagate IronWolf 16TB
The Seagate IronWolf 16TB hard drive is one of the high load internal HDDs compatible with NAS data storage solutions. The 3.5" format is made chiefly for data centres and desktop PCs. One of the main characteristics is undoubtedly the rotational frequency (RPM). 7200 RPM delivers improved system performance and faster data transfer. The hard disk provides a storage capacity of 16000 GB. The device features a 256 MB memory cache. The data transfer is facilitated through the SATA III interface.
Seagate IronWolf 16TB HDD Key Features
- Read speed up to 210 MB/s and write speed up to 210 MB/s
- 256 MB memory cache for better HDD performance
- 3.5" HDDs are designed for desktop PCs and data centres
- Standard power consumption is 7,3 W, while in stand-by mode it holds at 0,8 W
- The data transfer is facilitated using the SATA III interface
- Although standard HDDs are a tad more fragile due to their mechanical parts, but they also deliver a better storage capacity for less money than SSDs
- The Seagate IronWolf 16TB weights 670 g

Seagate IronWolf 16TB Hard Drive Speed
The HDD boasts a unique design. The enclosure conceals a mechanism with moving platters accompanied by disk read/write heads. These moving parts can be damaged by a shock or impact, but this design delivers a great combo of a low price and great storage capacity. The crucial parameter that affects the speed of a HDD is the number of rotations per minute (RPM). With the Seagate IronWolf 16TB, we have 7200 RPM RPM. It's a great model for more demanding users, for example video editors, graphic artists, people who play PC games, and everybody else who deal with large amounts of data. File access speed and stability is also impacted the embedded buffer memory known as cache. The Seagate hard disk includes a 256 MB cache that stores the last data inputs for their fast retrieval and reading.
Connecting the Hard Disk to Your PC
If you want to mount the Seagate IronWolf 16TB in the device of your choice, you need a 3,5" slot. The communication between the HDD and PC happens using the SATA III interface with a speed of 3 Gbit/s. This technology is one of the most popular HDD data transfer solutions available and delivers a speed of 600 MB/s. The dimensions of the HDD are 101,9 × 147 × 26,1 mm.
