Shards of the Apocalypse

The second half of the 23rd century, two hundred years after the Apocalypse. Europe is still devastated by total war and largely depopulated. Science has become magic, reserved for the initiated. After a long period of chaos, cannibalism and local wars, a civilisation worthy of the name has stabilised. In the wastelands, but also on the pages of forbidden books, technological anomalies, remnants of the lost 21st-century civilisation, persist.

These anomalies, also called “Shards from the Apocalypse”, sometimes hide incredible wealth in the form of technological manuals, and at other times, a mortal threat to future settlers.

Three heroes are engaged in the exploration of anomalies: the cyborg warrior Oggerd, the technologist Hal Hargo, and the negotiator Gowery. None of them has a chance of success on their own, but together they form a strong team.

Sometimes it's easy for them, they just go and fight. Usually, however, they must first unravel a web of myths to find out what and who they are actually up against.
