Innovated RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver situation.RDS-TMC (in English:Radio Data System - Traffic Message Channel) is a service that is intended to provide traffic and travel information before and during the journey the driver.This service integrates all relevant information and giving the driver the opportunity to optimize their route.The aim of the RDS-TMC traffic information is spread in the radio broadcasting in the FM band using RDS technology.Information is keyed by a special language-independent protocol ALERT-C and distributed to users as a quiet part of FM broadcasting.

Connecting the receiver to your TomTom device will automatically receive the current data using a TMC.Immediately following the route that is in the right upper corner of the screen there are up to date traffic information, such as reason for slow or reduce traffic and whether it is an accident or traffic jam.Add-in requires at least version 6525 TomTom.Free software updates can be done over the Internet using Tom Tom HOME.
