Joinery

Originally textbooks for two joinery disciplines, furniture and construction joinery, they now present the practices of the old masters and builders. Furniture Construction and Construction of Building Joinery is being reprinted in a new edition after more than seventy years. Both parts of the book consist of pictorial boards showing technological procedures and construction details.

We present the text in the same form as it was in the editions from which we drew. It goes without saying that some of the information given here is no longer valid and some practices have been abandoned in this field. You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the technologies used by carpenters in the 1950s.
We have also preserved the spelling according to the original, so that obsolete expressions or previously used spellings of some words remain. We believe that this is not to the detriment of the book, but that it will, on the contrary, bring the reader closer in some way to
the period in which these publications were produced and will enrich his knowledge.
