Motherfuckers

Prague, May 1987. Swedish agent Stig Larsson, disguised as an aerial journalist, is dragged out of bed at night and taken for interrogation. In a country where truth is manufactured on demand and loyalty is measured by fear, it takes little to make a man both a tool and a scapegoat.

Earlier, a young woman with links to East German intelligence was found dead. Her death triggers an operation in which the interests of the StB, the Stasi and Swedish counter-espionage overlap. Old ties, hidden motives and the trace of a project that should have remained buried deep in the past are surfacing.

The Stig finds himself in the middle of a game where every move can be watched and every decision used against him. Together with Ingrid, a cool and disciplined Swedish counter-espionage operator, they try to untangle a web whose knots lead where no one wants to look: inside their own ranks.
