Help your WiFi network reach maximum potential by expanding it from the existing wireless router or access point to wherever you choose. Unlike traditional MIMO transmitters, the WRE6606 provides extra power with its MU-MIMO technology, and even makes light work of handling multiple connected devices. This is why it fits perfectly into a modern home or office with multiple WiFi devices.
The WRE6606 supports all modern power supplies via micro USB, which means it can be connected to any of today's USB chargers or to a portable power supply (power bank). You do not need to constantly go looking for a socket, but you can temporarily expand your network coverage behind your wall. Take advantage of better WiFi coverage, for example, while relaxing in your garden or during a party.
Switch between Client, Repeater and Access Point modes at the push of a button. Repeater mode is used mainly for taking over an existing WiFi connection and enhancing its reach. Client mode accepts the existing WiFi and transfers network communication to the device without a wireless unit, while Access Point mode is best for finding a strong signal at a remote location where your existing WiFi connection is not strong enough. Simply choose your preferred mode, and you're ready to go.
The Zyxel WRE6606's three wireless operating modes all have different uses. The first mode favours maximum signal coverage. The second is for an extra short response time, which is perfect for online gaming or media streaming. The third mode offers the best of both, with optimal range and speed for everyday use.
