1Home KNX Voice & Visu

1Home KNX Voice & Visu
The 1Home KNX Voice & Visu central unit serves as an integration bridge for controlling your smart home's electrical wiring, lighting, heating, cooling, security, and shading technology. This device connects the standard KNX bus with modern ecosystems via the Matter protocol. This gives users the ability to control the entire household from a single app or using voice assistants. The device operates completely independently without the need for an additional control unit and ensures a stable connection between the wired KNX system and wireless applications. The device supports up to four simultaneous KNXnet IP Tunnelling connections, which simplifies network diagnostics and management.
Key features of the 1Home KNX Voice & Visu central unit
- Integrates the KNX bus with modern applications via the Matter protocol
- Local data processing works without an internet connection
- Quad-core 1.5GHz Broadcom processor ensures a fast response
- Automatic synchronisation from the ETS project eliminates manual address entry
- Allows for up to 4 simultaneous KNXnet/IP Tunnelling connections
- Plastic casing meets UL94 V0 fire safety requirements
- Low power consumption of 2 to 3W
Compatible smart home platforms
Compatible with the manufacturer's app
To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's application. You can find more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add the device to the app in the product manual.
Local operation
The device processes all data locally on-site and does not require an active internet connection to function. The only exception is voice control, which needs an internet connection to work. The manufacturer has designed the architecture with a strong emphasis on privacy and minimal data collection, ensuring no personal data is sent to external servers.
Wide ecosystem compatibility
This 1Home KNX Voice & Visu central unit supports integration into Apple Home, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Amazon Alexa systems. Thanks to the Matter protocol, you can connect various compatible applications and voice interfaces. Users can use mobile phones with both Android and iOS operating systems for control. A reliable 1Gb/s gigabit ethernet connection via an RJ-45 connector links it to your home network.
Quick setup with automatic import
System setup is simplified by an algorithm that automatically synchronises the KNX configuration with the 1Home interface based on an existing project from the ETS program. This process eliminates the need for manual copying of KNX group addresses. In addition, the system automatically checks for configuration errors and flags incorrectly set addresses during installation, which reduces the time needed for setup.
Hardware for smooth operation
Reliable operation is ensured by a quad-core Broadcom BCM2711 Cortex-A72 processor with a frequency of up to 1.5GHz, supported by 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM. For the system and user data, it includes integrated 8GB eMMC storage, of which 4GB is dedicated to user files. The device has a power consumption of 2–3W, with a maximum power input not exceeding 5W.
