The 50" Sencor SLE 50US804B television displays content on a 50" LED panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) and a refresh rate of 50/60Hz. The webOS operating system, powered by a quad-core processor, provides smart functions and fast access to applications. For interaction with the user interface, a Magic Remote is included, which adds the ability to control with a cursor, scroll wheel and voice commands. Direct LED picture technology provides even panel backlighting and HDR10 support expands the colour spectrum and contrast. A set of connectors, including three HDMI ports and two USB ports, is used to connect external devices.

Picture technologies for high detail

The 127cm (50") panel uses Direct LED direct backlighting technology, which contributes to an even distribution of brightness across the entire screen and better contrast. The 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution renders fine detail in all scenes, from movies to gaming content. The screen with 260 nits of brightness and a response time of 6.5m/s is complemented by image enhancement technologies such as a digital comb filter and dynamic noise reduction, which clean the signal of unwanted artefacts. The TV supports the HDR10 format with 10-bit colour depth (1.07 billion shades). This technology expands the contrast ratio and renders detail in both dark and bright areas of the image, optimising the display of content from streaming services or Blu-ray media.

Sound system with Dolby support

The sound accompaniment is provided by integrated stereo speakers with a total power of 20W (2 × 10W), which provide the sound foundation for normal viewing. The television supports the Dolby Digital Plus audio format, the standard for digital broadcasting and online platforms. This format transmits multi-channel sound with clearer dialogue and more distinct surround effects. The user can further customise the sound using the built-in equaliser.

webOS Operating System

The webOS operating system with navigation via the launch bar provides access to applications and system settings. The hardware foundation is a quad-core ARM Cortex CA55 processor, a Mali-G31 graphics chip and 8GB of internal storage. The system integrates global services (Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video) as well as local platforms (Kuki, SledováníTV, Telly, Skylink Live TV). HbbTV hybrid broadcasting support is also included to link linear broadcasting with internet content.

Intuitive control with Magic Remote

The package includes a Magic Remote. It simplifies interaction with the TV thanks to an integrated gyroscope that converts hand movement into a cursor on the screen. A scroll wheel makes it easy to navigate through menus. The remote also includes a microphone for voice searching content and entering commands. In addition, it can also be used to control other connected devices that support the HDMI-CEC standard.

Connectivity and mirroring

A dual-band Wi-Fi module (2.4/5GHz) and a LAN port (RJ-45) provide network connectivity for high-definition streaming. Bluetooth 5.0 enables wireless connection of audio devices, while Miracast and AirPlay functions are responsible for screen mirroring from mobile phones. The connector equipment includes three HDMI 2.0 (including ARC), two USB 2.0, a digital optical output, a headphone output and a CI+ slot. These interfaces allow the connection of game consoles, external sound systems and decoding modules. The USB ports allow playback of multimedia in MKV, MP4, AVI, MP3 and JPEG formats. The integrated PVR function ensures that TV broadcasts are recorded in TS format to a connected storage device, while the Timeshift function allows you to pause and rewind the live picture.

Design and installation options

The device has thin bezels around the screen, which do not distract from viewing and keep the focus on the picture. The TV can be placed on the supplied stand, which measures 1111 × 699 × 261mm. Alternatively, it can be mounted on the wall using a 200 × 200mm VESA bracket. The dimensions of the TV itself are 1111 × 643 × 77mm and its weight is 9.1kg.

Energy consumption and class

In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the television falls into energy class E and its consumption is 53kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When displaying content with high dynamic range (HDR), it remains in energy class E, but the consumption in this mode increases slightly to 54kWh over the same period. The television is powered by a standard mains voltage of AC 100–240V at 50/60Hz.
