The ColorGraphic CG232 monitor is the first product of its kind designed specifically for post-production, including colour grading, image evaluation and non-linear editing for broadcasting. 
In addition to its standard 8-bit display, this widescreen model also accepts 10-bit PC video signals.
The ColorGraphic CG232 offers colour modes that reproduce colours used in broadcasting and digital cinema almost in their entirety. As a result, it reaches up to 97% of the Adobe RGB gamut or 97% EBU coverage. The model’s input support includes SD-SDI and HD-SDI for transferring uncompressed video signals, as well as DVI. 
The monitor is equipped with the latest integrated circuit for compensating brightness and chroma values, ensuring uniformity. The Delta-E colour is significantly improved; the differences deviate from the perfect value only 0.34 on average (and always remain under 1.7). A 3D lookup table (LUT) (3x 12bit) is used for accurate colour and greyscale rendering by utilising a single, mixed-colour cubic table.

ColorNavigator

ColorNavigator, an integrated automatic calibration software, makes calibration both quick and simple.  
It configures values for brightness, white point, and gamma. ColorNavigator communicates with the monitor through a USB cable and modifies the internal settings and 16-bit lookup table directly. The calibration is then stored internally and remains valid even when using a different machine. The ICC profile, which is created this way, can be set as the default monitor profile of an operating system. Both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X 10.7 fulfil the OS System requirements
