The EIZO EV2736WFS, which comes in the energy-saving EV = EcoView range, comes with a new, high-quality IPS panel offering high-quality viewing (independent of viewing angles). This features a sophisticated, semi-gloss, anti-reflective mask with practically zero screen glow.

The 27" model offers ultra-high resolution (2,560×1,440 = 3.7Mpx ). It almost doubles the display of information compared to the regular 24" monitors, and is especially suited for offices with a high demand for convenient table data processing, or a replacement for Classical "two-screen" workplaces. It is also suitable for design CAD/CAM workplaces, but thanks to the long-term stability of image parameters, it is also well-suited to dispatching, and surveillance workplaces.

The highly-tuned, automatic "hybrid" (= combined) LED backlight control system not only reduces the power consumption, but also makes it absolutely stable and flickerfree to set the desired brightness level from 0.6 cd/m2 to 300 cd/m2 (0.2-100% maximum brightness value), which is ideal especially for Daylight Saving and night-time monitors .

The monitor uses a unique, optimized, nonlinear control to adjust the brightness of the monitor according to ambient lighting, which, compared to a simple and commonly used linear control, can better respond to light changes to match the brightness of the monitor with the human eye. The control curves also have two adjustments for winter and summer.

At the same time, the user will appreciate the sound of the power supply, which is also independent of the currently set brightness of the monitor.

In addition, each user can choose a "software" adjustable "image filter" to maximize visual fatigue with long-term reading on a white background. In addition, the monitor is equipped with a "Paper Mode", where the contrast ratio of the monitor drops to 1:30 and can perfectly simulate the usual electronic "reading" device.

Significant power savings also contribute to a sensor that continuously evaluates the presence of the user, enabling the monitor to automatically switch on, or off, depending on whether he is present or not.

The 30% saving theme is also achieved by the unique technology of continuous histogram evaluation (brightness distribution) of the currently displayed scene.

Immediately ready

The color range of the monitor is close to the IEC61966-2.1 sRGB standard so that the monitor immediately manages to correctly display color photographs with sRGB without unnecessarily calibrating the monitor to produce an accurate color profile. Viewing images with the sRGB range is true even in non-CMS browsers, eg in Internet browsers, or other applications that were originally not intended primarily for color reproduction.

This is a great advantage especially for beginners, or amateurs who may not always be fully aware of color reproduction issues on modern wide-screen imagers.

For even more accurate color reproduction of sRGB photos, the sRGB button is used, which automatically (according to sRGB) correctly sets the corresponding white point temperature and selects the gradient curve correctly (black point increase rate).

Seamlessly connect modern computers with DP inputs (DisplayPort and DVI-D). With the integrated 2 x USB hub, you can connect some basic peripherals (flash memory, keyboard, mouse, ...)

Of course, support for both analog (3.5mm jack) and digital (DisplayPort) audio stereo channels is available.

Users who would like to use this model for gaming, or video, will also be surprised by the very fast response - 6 ms (GG), which wipes out differences between TN-dominated players and more advanced IPS LCD panel technology.

Excellent ergonomics - a new flexible stand

With the new stand, it is possible to easily manipulate the 27" panel at any time and for each user. The stand supports height adjustment of 20-165 mm (up to 145 mm!), 344 ° swiveling, up to 30 ° tilt, and 90 ° rotating the panel to "height" position ( Pivot function) to conveniently view "long" web pages. Also very similar to the entire circumference is the same and only 20 mm thin frame .
