The 3 Legged Thing Base 70mm Peak Design is a quick release base plate designed for Ellie L-bracket mounts with Peak Design couplers to attach your camera to the Capture Camera Clip. It will appeal especially to professional photographers, who will appreciate the new possibilities of photography and video shooting that this plate will offer. It can be attached in several different ways to most DSLR and CNC cameras, without blocking access to the connectors. The 3 Legged Thing Base Peak Design is also compatible with the Arca Swiss system and is made of anodized magnesium alloy for maximum durability.

Fancy design
Peak Design thought of everything when making the 3 Legged Thing Base. For example, its bevelled rear edge is useful for easy use of tilting camera displays. There are 2 screw mounting slots on the plate so it can be attached to the front and back of the camera as needed. In addition to the 1/4″ screw, the package also includes a rubberized washer to prevent scratching. You can even use the plate as a wide quick-release plate, an ideal solution for heavier, larger and less balanced cameras that require a stable base.
