The Toshiba 50UV3F63DG TV offers a 4K Ultra HD picture on its 50" screen size, supported by technologies for enhancing detail and colour. The panel, with its Direct LED backlighting and 50/60Hz refresh rate, uses the Vidaa operating system for fast access to smart features and streaming apps. The viewing experience is complemented by TRU Picture technology, which intelligently upscales content to a higher resolution. The audiovisual package is rounded off with support for Dolby Vision for high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos for surround sound, with the audio delivered by speakers designed by specialists from Onkyo.

The 127cm (50") LED panel displays content in native 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160). The screen, with its Direct LED backlighting and 50/60Hz refresh rate, uses TRU Picture technology, which consists of TRU Resolution for picture sharpening and TRU Flow for smoother motion. Dolby Vision HDR support dynamically adjusts the contrast and colour rendition scene by scene, revealing more detail in both dark and bright parts of the image.

The speakers, with a total power of 20W (2 × 10W), were designed and tuned by specialists from Onkyo, contributing to the clarity and dynamism of the sound performance. The TV supports Dolby Atmos surround sound technology, which creates a three-dimensional soundscape and draws the viewer into the action. For connecting an external soundbar or home cinema without loss of sound quality, an eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) is available on one of the HDMI ports.

The fast and clear Vidaa operating system provides access to popular streaming services and apps. Pre-installed global platforms include Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video. There is also support for HbbTV hybrid broadcasting for access to the archives of Czech television stations. For easy content sharing from mobile devices, Apple AirPlay technology facilitates screen mirroring from Apple products.

Game mode optimises the picture settings for the lowest possible input lag, providing smoother responses when gaming. Video game players will also benefit from support for displaying HDR graphics, which reveals more detail in the light and dark parts of the game scene. This makes the picture in compatible games visually richer and helps with better orientation in the game world.

The connector equipment includes three HDMI 2.0 ports for connecting games consoles, Blu-ray players, and other devices. The television also offers two USB ports for playing multimedia and recording broadcasts. The Toshiba 50UV3F63DG TV connects to the internet via a wired LAN port or wirelessly using the integrated Wi-Fi. The equipment also includes Bluetooth for connecting headphones or a soundbar, a digital optical output, a headphone jack, and a CI+ slot for decoder cards.

With the stand, the TV measures 1120 × 703 × 235mm and weighs 11.1kg. For wall mounting, it is necessary to use a bracket that corresponds to the VESA standard with a spacing of 200 × 200mm. The dimensions of the panel itself without the stand are 1120 × 648 × 87mm, and this information is important when choosing a suitable bracket. The stand is included in the package and contributes to stability when placed on a TV table or other furniture.

In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the television falls into energy class E. Its consumption in this mode is 54kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When watching content in HDR, which requires a higher panel brightness, the consumption increases to 104kWh per 1,000 hours, corresponding to energy class G. In standby mode, the consumption is less than 0.5W, thus meeting European ecological standards.
