The stylish NEC PD X551S display features a very long service life and reliability even in demanding 24/7 operation. A slim profile and 55" diagonal Full HD resolution makes a great impression whether the screen is used for sales banners, conference rooms, reception, or if you decide to integrate it with furniture. The S-PVA technology guarantees wide viewing angles and, combined with the LED backlight, delivers true-to-life colours with high brightness of up to 700 cd/m², while maintaining low power consumption. In addition, the ambient light sensor intelligently adapts the intensity of the backlight so that the image does not burden your eyes with excessive or low brightness.

High-quality picture projection can also be enhanced with 2 x 5 W built-in stereo speakers. The rear panel connector also allows external speakers to be connected using speaker connectors or 3.5mm audio output jacks. Next you will find audio input. You can easily select between internal and external speakers simply by pressing the switch. Of course, the manufacturer has not forgotten a number of input video jacks such as DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D (input + output). Analog D-Sub inputs or BNC composite connector are also available.

A special shaft allows you to install a slot-in PC on the back of the screen to create an All-In-One PC without disrupting its slim profile. Its application can be found in healthcare, eg when viewing X-rays with DICOM profile. It also deals with signal chaining in the digital loop. The NEC PD X551S is delivered without a stand, but you will be pleased with an array of accessories that also includes a remote control. With LAN (RJ-45) and RS-232C ports, it is possible to control and manage the display remotely.
