Royal scribe Jiří Adam from Dobronín investigates the disappearance of an alchemist who apparently managed to produce gold by transmutation of metals
Jiří Adam from Dobronín, together with his assistant Petr Korec, is leaving for Litoměřice on the orders of the Supreme Chamberlain. A task awaited by his supervisor refused to reveal anything to him. The provost of Litoměřice invites him to a secret meeting with several noble men upon his arrival. A certain alchemist Theobaldin seems to have managed to produce gold by transmutation of metals. But then he suddenly disappeared, and with it the hope and money the powerful North Bohemian nobles put in his promising attempts…
