A powerful internal ADAPTEC controller with connectors mounted on the top of the card that you can use to easily connect up to 16 devices. The controller uses a 256MB cache and PCI-Express 3.0 x8 bus.

The adapter has 16 ports for SAS/SATA 6GB/s hard drives. The controller is designed for a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface and offers a wide selection of RAID 0, 1, 1E, and 10 array connections.

It includes advanced data protection, maximum scalability and easy management of RAID Hybrid arrays. All features can be easily set up using the web interface. Very useful is also Native Command Queuing optimisation technology, allowing hard disk drives to internally optimise the order in which received read and write commands are executed.

The controller is designed for both low-end and high-end server stations and thanks to the high throughput of the new PCI-Express 3.0 interface, it delivers significantly faster data transfer from connected drives. The ADAPTEC controller also supports many operating systems and is compatible with over 300 devices from different manufacturers.
