The LPD8 USB/MIDI pad controller is a great accessory for musicians, producers, DJs and other music creators. It measures only 33cm and weighs less than a pound, so it fits easily into your backpack or notebook bag. It offers extremely high mobility. It is based on the Akai Professional MPC line of iconic music production workstations. Creators who love working with MPC and want to work with software on their PCs will get a control device with the LPD8 so you can ditch the mouse and forget the keyboard.
The LPD8 has eight orange backlit drum pads that are velocity-sensitive. You can easily program rhythmic or melodic parts with them. The pads can also transmit MIDI information to the Software Change Program. In addition, LPD8 has eight Q-Link knobs that can easily be assigned to control virtually any parameter in the software.
It doesn't require the installation of any software driver with Mac OS and Windows operating systems. Furthermore, it only needs to be powered by a USB port. It has four memory slots for programming and displaying the appropriate settings for various software applications.
