Ready for any weather
The ANDES DRYSTAR textile jacket adapts to any conditions. Its core is a fixed Drystar® climate membrane, which ensures 100% waterproofness and breathability, so you stay dry both inside and out. For cold days, there is a removable thermal liner with a weight of 100g/m³ on the chest and 80g/m³ on the sleeves. In warm weather, you will appreciate the DVS (Direct Ventilation System) with direct air inlets on the chest and outlets on the back in the shoulder blade area.
Safety features of the ANDES DRYSTAR jacket
Safety is a key feature of this model. The jacket is compatible with TECH-AIR®5 vests, which represents the highest level of protection. Standard equipment includes removable, CE-certified NUCLEON FLEX PLUS elbow and shoulder protectors. For comprehensive protection, the jacket is ready for NUCLEON level 1 and 2 back protector inserts. Abrasion resistance is increased by PU print reinforcement in the elbow area. Reflective elements on the shoulders, back and sides ensure visibility at dusk and at night.
Clever ergonomics and practicality
Sophisticated ergonomics ensure comfort on long journeys. The pre-curved sleeves and stretch panels above the elbows provide natural freedom of movement. A wide range of waist and sleeve width adjustments using Velcro and press studs lets you tailor the jacket perfectly to your body shape. You have several pockets available: two outer waterproof pockets at the front, two on the chest and one large pocket at the back. The premium YKK main zip is protected by a storm flap. A perimeter zip is used to connect the jacket to trousers.
