Alza.cz introduces its same day delivery service AlzaExpres

AlzaExpres - Unbeatable price and comfort for customersPrague 26.3.2014 – Alza.cz, the largest e-shop in the Czech Republic, is now offering a convenient new way for its customers to receive goods. The service called AlzaExpres, will operate in and around Prague meeting the demand for fast, reliable and cost-effective same day delivery.

"The introduction of our AlzaExpres service corresponds to the increasing demand of purchases made online in our e-shop. Many customers were showing keen interest for their orders to be delivered during the afternoon or early evening." said Rudolf Žůrek, Director of Logistics at Alza.cz. "Anyone who places an order by 12:00 is guaranteed same day delivery when they choose AlzaExpres. The service also operates on weekends offering flexibility to our customers 7 days a week, delivering in Prague City, Prague East and Prague West." says Žůrek.

Customers choosing to use AlzaExpres pay for the service at the same time as placing orders. The service costs only 59 Kč incl. VAT, a small price to pay for same day delivery. Orders placed by 12:00 will be delivered between 16:00 and 21:00, with customers receiving a convenient SMS notification, including delivery time plus the name and contact number of the driver. Alza.cz also offer a free online tracking service for your deliveries and are currently developing mobile applications to enable tracking on Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

The service is operated by Alza.cz itself, creating new local job opportunities and equipping the company with a new fleet of vehicles. AlzaExpres vehicles and drivers are therefore unmistakably identifiable. Drivers will also wear name tags, and customers will be contacted prior to delivery of the goods by phone. Alza.cz is the only e-shop in the Czech Republic that offers such a service designed to meet the needs of customers who prefer to receive goods directly from the hands of the seller.
