The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX Colfax is well suited for PCs designed to handle extremely performance-intensive tasks. The chip conceals 24 cores and enough processing power for computational operations, thanks to a 3 GHz clock speed. Under heavy load, the processor will automatically overclock to an impressive 4,2 GHz, temporarily improving the computer performance. The so-called processor memory cache features a capacity of 64 MB with a L3 cache and 12 MB with a L2 cache. The Processor uses 12 nm production technology, which means it belongs among the most modern chips available. The processor is compatible with motherboards with a AMD TR4 socket.
