Cooking zones and power control
The AMICA DDS 3201 B hob is equipped with two ceramic glass cooking zones of different sizes to cover everyday cooking needs. The rear 18cm cooking zone with a power of 1.8kW is suitable for standard pots and pans, while the front 14.5cm zone with a power of 1.2kW is ideal for smaller cookware or gentle heating. Nine power levels enable smooth temperature regulation and better control over food preparation, from gentle heating to more intensive cooking.
Touch controls and timer functions
The + / - touch controls provide clear and intuitive power adjustment without any mechanical parts. The red backlit LED display shows the current settings and active functions. The integrated timer lets you set the cooking time for individual cooking zones and automatically switches the hob off when the time is up, alerting you with an audible signal. The function can also be used as a kitchen minute minder, making it easier to prepare multiple dishes at once. Another practical advantage is the automatic boil function, which first heats the zone to full power and then reduces the power to the selected level.
Safety in everyday use
The AMICA DDS 3201 B model places an emphasis on safe operation. The child lock prevents accidental activation or changes to the settings, which is particularly appreciated in households with children. The residual heat indicator lets you know if a cooking zone is still hot after being switched off – the symbol 'H' is displayed at higher temperatures, and 'h' at lower ones. This significantly reduces the risk of burns even after you have finished cooking.
