The low profile of the trackpad allows for more convenient control. Due to a larger area and lower profile, controlling the trackpad with fingers is much faster and comfortable.

The large glass surface reacts with the same sensitivity regardless of where it is pressed. A unique feature is the Force Touch technology, which recognises even subtle differences in pressure. Squeeze more and more with each contact with the glass surface. Varying degrees of pressure can be used for a variety of purposes.

Why not use multiple fingers at once?

The trackpad is able to recognise finger gestures to make everyday use more pleasant. In the browser, for example, you can switch between the next or previous page by swiping two fingers across the trackpad. Viewing photos? Pinch and spread 2 fingers apart, and zoom in for an interesting detail. To move between desktop and full-screen applications simply use three fingers. Swiping three fingers up gets you a bird's-eye view of everything that is opened on your Mac at the moment.

Futuristic battery

You no longer have to get battery cells. Trackpad 2 now has its own built-in rechargeable battery. The result is a more solid structure. However, Apple always does something special, and so the battery is definitely not an ordinary one. In just one minute, it will charge enough to last an hour of continuous use! Charging the battery to full capacity takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes, and then it will last about a month of normal use of your computer or notebook.
