The smart lock offers convenient unlocking via Apple Home Keys—just add a Home Key to your Apple Wallet and then unlock the gate with a single tap of your iPhone or Apple Watch. You'll appreciate this feature, especially when sharing access remotely or when your phone's battery is dead or offline. According to the manufacturer, the tap-to-unlock feature works even when the iPhone's battery is depleted.
Two-way access control with fingerprint and key
The AQARA Smart Gate Lock U500 offers two-way access control—fingerprint and key—from both sides of the gate. This solution increases user convenience while eliminating the risk of someone reaching through the gate to the lock and attempting to operate it from the other side.
Fingerprint unlocking with memory for up to 50 users
The lock is equipped with a 160×160 pixel sensor that identifies fingerprints. Its memory has space for up to 50 unique fingerprints, so family, friends, and other selected individuals can enjoy easy, one-touch unlocking.

AQARA Smart Gate Lock U500 – Camera and Smart Home Integration
The U500 smart gate lock offers easy integration with the Aqara Doorbell Camera Hub G410, giving you an overview of who is at the door and the ability to unlock it remotely using the Apple Home app. You can set up 'When/If/Then' rules to trigger smart interactions based on real-time actions, such as turning on the lights when the door is opened.

Installation with the built-in cylinder is easy and only requires a PH1 screwdriver.*
