The ASRock A620AM PRO-A with Wi-Fi motherboard is the core for building a compact and powerful PC based on the AMD AM5 platform. Power and stability
The board's power delivery system operates in a 6+2+1 phase configuration with Dr.MOS technology. The system supplies the processor with stable voltage even under high load. High-density power connectors help reduce electrical resistance and heat. The six-layer PCB improves heat dissipation and increases energy efficiency.
Fast memory and storage
The four slots accommodate up to 256GB of DDR5 RAM. The board supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles for easy memory performance tuning. For data storage, there are two M.2 slots with a PCIe 4.0 interface, which achieve transfer speeds of up to 64Gb/s. The equipment is complemented by a third M.2 slot with a PCIe 3.0 interface and two SATA III ports with support for RAID 0 and 1 arrays.
Connectivity
Network connection is handled by a 2.5Gbps LAN port with a Dragon RTL8125BG controller and a Wi-Fi 6E wireless module, which also operates in the less congested 6GHz band. The module also includes Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting peripherals. For expansion cards, a primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and a secondary PCIe 3.0 x4 slot are ready. The rear panel includes a total of eight USB ports, including a fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and a modern reversible Type-C connector. For processors with integrated graphics, there is an HDMI 2.1 output with support for 4K resolution.
Easy management features
The board includes tools that simplify system installation and diagnostics. The Auto Driver Installer automatically offers to install the network driver and then download other drivers. The BIOS Flashback button on the rear panel lets you update the BIOS without an installed processor, memory or graphics card. The Post Status Checker diagnostic tool uses LEDs to report the status of key components during computer startup.
