Expandability and memory support
Four dual-channel DDR4 slots allow for overclocking up to 5333MHz thanks to OptiMem II technology. For expansion cards, there are three PCIe x16 slots available – one full-throughput PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with SafeSlot Core+ technology for increased mechanical durability, a second PCIe 4.0 x16 slot operating in x4 mode, and a third PCIe 4.0 x16 in x1 mode. Storage is provided by two M.2 2280 slots with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, one of which is fitted with a heatsink to prevent throttling during long data transfers, and four SATA III ports for traditional drives.
