The SafeSlot Core+ construction with steel reinforcement protects the main slot from mechanical damage when installing heavy graphics cards and maintains a stable electrical connection.
Memory and storage
Four DDR5 slots support overclocking beyond 7200MHz via AEMP II technology, which automatically analyses memory chips and offers optimised frequency, timing, and voltage profiles for PMIC-restricted modules without manual setup. OptiMem II technology improves signal integrity and memory stability through optimised PCB tracing and memory path isolation to reduce electromagnetic interference. Three M.2 slots provide flexible storage configurations – one M.2 22110 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4, one M.2 2280 slot with PCIe 4.0 x4, and one M.2 22110 slot with dual PCIe 4.0 x4 and SATA mode for compatibility with older drives. Cooling and thermal management
The VRM heatsinks with an enlarged surface area cover the voltage regulators for effective heat dissipation under long-term load, enabling processors to run at higher frequencies without thermal throttling. An M.2 heatsink with a removable captive screw can be used for the M.2_1 or M.2_3 slot and protects M.2 storage from throttling during long data transfers. The system of fan headers includes dedicated CPU fan headers and an AIO pump header for comprehensive cooling management, configurable via Fan Xpert 4 software or the UEFI BIOS. AI Cooling II dynamically adjusts fan speeds based on the current load and component temperatures.
Connectivity and networking
The USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C connector provides data transfers of up to 20Gbps for fast backups or large file transfers, while the Thunderbolt (USB4) header expands connectivity options for high-speed peripherals with support for up to 40Gbps bandwidth. WiFi 6 technology ensures a stable wireless connection with higher capacity and better performance in congested wireless environments compared to previous generations. The 2.5Gb Ethernet port improves network connection speeds by up to 2.5× over standard 1Gb Ethernet for faster access to network storage and cloud services. The Power Saving function includes settings to optimise power consumption, including a CPU power limit, dimming Aura lighting, and setting the fan profile to a power-saving mode, with the option to activate the Power Saver plan integrated in Microsoft Windows to maximise energy savings. The UEFI BIOS provides intuitive configuration options for PC DIY beginners and advanced features for experienced users, which enable fine-tuning of every aspect of the system.
Audio system
The audio system uses audio shielding for precise analogue-to-digital separation and significantly reduced mutual interference between channels. Dedicated audio PCB layers for the left and right channels ensure consistent and uniform quality for both channels.
