The new Radeon RX 580 is based on the core of the Polaris 10 with the addition of some interesting enhancements. The key features are the increased clock rates and a better overall operating performance. The ASUS ROG STRIX Gaming RX 580 DirectCU III graphics card works at a rate of 1360MHz.

The FreeSync technology facilitating smooth images is supported and the HDR provides great colour results. The Polaris architecture also includes the acceleration of the H.265 format with up to 4K resolution and even at 60 frames per second .

The STRIX GAMING Radeon RX 580 graphics cards feature exclusive ASUS features including Auto-Extreme technology, offering premium quality and maximum reliability. The DirectCU III technology uses silent fans with a new patented wing-shaped blade designed to provide maximum airflow and 105% higher static pressure over the cooler.
