An unusual motherboard with hi-end features for a mid-range price. It is part of the famous ASUS TUF series. The board is designed to provide maximum stability, all-round compatibility, and extreme durability. An ideal choice for high-performance workstations and gaming systems.
The board uses CeraM!X ceramics-coating technology, resulting in a 50% larger area for heat dissipation. Innovative ceramics effectively conducts heat away from the system. It replaces traditional anti-oxidant to dissipate heat better with its microscopic irregular surface and enlarged area. Better cooling leads to overall improvement in system stability.
The key features of the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX also include TUF Thermal Radar real-time temperature detection and heat removal, New DIGI+ Power Control digital power control solution, military-standard TUF components, E.S.P. Efficient Switching Power Design providing optimal power efficiency for key components, USB BIOS Flashback, and several others.
This is a 2.0 revision, with ensures full compatibility with the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system.
