Protected from all sides

The board is covered by so-called Thermal Armour. To this you can simply connect a 40mm fan, which then ensures better air flow and faster heat dissipation. On the back side you will find a reinforced brace, which, in addition to dissipating heat from the VRM controllers and other components, ensures that the motherboard does not bend even under heavy GPUs and the CPU cooler. Another important job of the armour is to protect the input and output ports, expansion slots, and important connectors from dust and dirt particles.

Cooling under control
