The ASUS UN65U-BM008M is a modern, well-equipped miniature computer that can perfectly fit under your television or wherever you choose to take it. It is designed to meet most of the requirements normally expected from a classic desktop PC, but at the same time, its design makes sure it can be used as the ultimate energy-efficient and space-saving HTPC. The ASUS UN65U-BM008M mini computer does not include memory modules or a storage drive.
The heart of the computer is an Intel Core i3 7100U processor that provides sufficient computing power for ordinary office work, simpler computer games, multimedia entertainment, or browsing the web. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics chip takes care of image processing. The ASUS UN65U-BM008M sports two SO-DIMM DDR4 (up to 2133MHz) slots that can accommodate up to 32GB of system memory. There is also an M.2 connector for connecting a solid 2.5" HDD or SSD drive. Then just select and install your preferred operating system and your new mini computer is ready for use.
The mini computer is equipped with a network Wi-Fi card and classic Ethernet for all your Internet connectivity. The device has four high-speed USB 3.0 ports and the graphics card features both the digital HDMI and modern mini DisplayPort. You can connect up to two monitors and the HDMI format can handle up to 4k resolution. All of these components are packed in a very small case that takes little space on your desk and doesn’t harm the overall aesthetics of your workspace. If you want to hide it altogether, the mini PC comes with a VESA wall mount that let you attach it a wall or to the back of your monitor.
The ASUS Mini PCs are notable for their very low noise level, ranging from 23dB (falling leaves) to 38 dB (quiet library environment). Even under these conditions, the computer fan operates flawlessly and ensures stable performance without overheating. Power consumption is another strong suit of this computer. Its highly efficient energy management has made it possible to reduce power consumption in typical operation to the lowest point possible. For you, it means that you can let your computer download files overnight without seeing the effects on your electricity bill.
