Top quality motherboard designed for server use. It offers universal features in a compact design which means that it can fit into many ATX or EEB cabinets. The basis is the 2011-3 socket for powerful Intel Xeon processors. Its features are especially suited for small and medium businesses as a storage server. For demanding users, broadband connectivity with Intel SFP+ dual network controllers is available to increase the throughput and efficiency of the data centre. These can transfer data at speeds of up to 10Gb/s.

Excellent extensibility with a PIKE solution
The powerful processor is supplemented by up to 8 DDR4 memories with a maximum frequency of 2400MHz. For data storage, 10 SATA 6Gb/s connectors are immediately available. An alternative configuration with 9 SATA III connectors and one M.2 slot for fast SSD drives can also be selected.
The new generation of Asus boards is equipped with a new PIKE solution for users who want to use several PIKE II cards in order to increase its extensibility. There are six PCI Express 3.0 slots available for a variety of expanding components. For example, you can add a supported MIO-892 sound card with superb sound quality and up to 7.1 channel audio.

The entire board is made up of the best premium quality components which maximize its reliability and long service life . In addition, they have a peak energy efficiency of up to 94%. The power supply relies primarily on four components - Beat Thermal Choke coils, Dr. MOS transistors, 12000-hour capacitors and a Digi+ VRM system. This results in minimal voltage drops and high flexibility.
