Asus introduces its new slimmest, lightest and extraordinarily powerful notebook. The third generation of the Zenbook is completely redesigned for a new era of mobile technology. Asus relies on a precision, circular grinding aluminum construction, typical of the Zen line. However, everyone takes compact size when the ZenBook has only 11.9 mm in height and its weight has stopped at 910 grams. The thin profile is due primarily to the newly developed hinges that measure only 3 mm. Perfect looks, good performance and first-class processing, this is the new ZenBook 3.

Unbelievable performance in a thin body

A very challenging task was chosen by the technicians themselves, with the aim of creating an extra thin, high-performance notebook. The result is an unprecedented combination of thin chassis and powerful components. Inside, we can find the latest Intel Core i5 or i7 mobile processors and up to 16 GB of 2133 MHz operating memory. There is also a very fast SSD with a huge capacity of up to 1 TB.

An amazing spectacle

The 12.5 "display shows Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 px). Thanks to IPS technology, you can enjoy wide viewing angles and colourful colours with high contrast. However, the Zenbook 3 boasts an exceptionally thin frame with a width of only 7.6 mm , with the entire screen occupying 82% of the body of the notebook. The top display is also fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 durable glass for maximum protection.

Perfect control and maximum safety

The ZenBook got a modified keyboard that is extremely thin. The 0.8 mm key stroke is 28% thinner than the previous generation . The keypad was suited to the smallest detail and the exclusive look of the ZenBook is backlit in gold. An integral part is a precision touchpad with a glass surface that supports gestures and recognizes hand-written text.

In addition, the Touchpad is equipped with a fingerprint security sensor that logs you in without having to enter your password with Windows Hello.

Multipurpose connector

The ZenBook 3 is similar to the Apple MacBook with just one plug-in connector, namely USB-C in the Thunderbolt 3 specification. It provides very fast charging, extra fast data transfer, or up to 3 external monitors. That's why you 're charging a 60% high-capacity battery in 49 minutes . A fully charged notebook then promises up to 9 hours of battery life. As a bonus, on the other hand, we find a classic 3.5 combined headphone or microphone jack.

Life without wires

What they do not provide external outputs is the state-of-the-art wireless technology. With Bluetooth 4.1 or WiFi 802.11ac , you can enjoy mobility without borders , which is more reliable and 3 times faster than previous generations - up to 867 Mbps. For wireless image transfer, Intel WiDi technology is available, so there's nothing to prevent you from stream- ing music, movies or photos to your smart TV (WiDi support).
