Asusor AS-609RS Professional Data Storage with ASUSTOR ADM in combination with the Intel Atom Processor allows you to maximise reading and writing performance. The model has been designed for small and medium-sized businesses and offers a rich range of features combined with high stability. It has a total of six USB ports, two are in version 3.0 and another four in older version 2.0, plus a pair of eSATA connectors. These ports allow you to connect up to eight external hard drives for enhancing your total storage capacity. You have a total of 9 slots for 3.5" or 2.5" SATA II/III drives .

The HDMI port allows you to connect a TV or monitor and create a multimedia centre from the AS-609RS.
ASUSTOR delivers a stable and powerful environment for your virtualization. Naturally, iSCSI and NFS are supported, allowing the NAS server to be connected to existing infrastructure. In addition, ASUSTOR NAS servers are certified for VMware, Citrix, and Hyper-V ready. All ASUSTOR NAS servers are designed with minimal power consumption and savings whenever possible. Through App Central you can download lots of applications to extend functionality or even get a whole new one. Of course, you can back up your data, whether you use Windows, Linux or Mac. RAID fields 0,1,5,6,10 and JBOD are supported.
