ATEN CS-1008

This precision electronic switch, designed for the 19" rack, lets you control up to 8 computers with a single keyboard, mouse, and LCD or VGA D-Sub monitor. The intelligent design makes installing the switch very simple. Simply connect the keyboard and mouse with the PS / 2 ports and the monitor with the VGA D-Sub to the switch and then use 8 sets of computer connectors. You can switch between systems by using the button on the switch or the OSD menu. Eight LEDs displaying the currently selected computer and eight diodes indicating on-line connected computers serve as an indication.

No software is required for installation. Adding and removing computers is possible even when running. You can connect up to 256 computers using cascading (Daisy Chain Cable). The device is equipped with a firmware upgrade connector. It also supports the majority of operating systems.
