The car is solidly built and well-engineered, featuring soft EVA polymeric tires and realistic glowing LED lights. The Audi R8 Spyder electric car can drive forward and backward, with the direction of travel altered through the steering wheel on the dashboard by the seated driver. The speed is controlled via the foot pedal just like the real thing! The car can also be controlled separately through the 2.4GHz remote control, a great safety feature if parents need to intervene and take over driving duties. Driving on a level and solid surface such as pathways and paved paths is recommended.
