The German company Dräger has been the absolute market leader in the production of alcohol tester for many years now. Dröger Alcotest 5820 is designed primarily for professional use. It offers a short response time, very accurate measurements and a long service life. This test is especially popular with drivers who want to be sure that it is safe for them to get behind the wheel. It is also frequently used in large companies during random drug tests. The device's memory allows it to store up to 100 alcohol tests along with all their results. The Alcotest 5820 also offers the option of so-called passive testing in cases where the subject is unconscious.

Easy to use alcohol tester

Using the Alcotest 5820 is very easy and can be done by absolutely everyone. It is switched on with the pressing of a single button, and when the beep sounds, the tester is ready to take a breath sample. After a very short time, the result is displayed on a large and clear LCD display in numerical values with an accuracy up to two decimal places. The excellent construction of the tester allows for fast, simple and hygienic breath tests. The Dräger Alcotest 5820 is equipped with a high-quality alkaline battery which can last for up to 1500 measurements.

Do you need to calibrate your Dräger alcohol tester?

It is necessary to have the Dräger Alcohol Testers calibrated in the interval specified by the manufacturer. For most models, the recommended calibration interval is 6 months, for the Dräger Alcotest 5820 it is 12 months. For the date of the next calibration, refer to the adhesive sticker attached to the alcohol tester.

Alkoholtesters in need of calibration must be sent to Dräger Safety s.r.o., Obchodní 124, 251 01 Čestlice or Dräger Safety s.r.o., divize PPS Vítkovice, Kotkova 4a, 706 02 Ostrava Vítkovice.
