Thule adapter 9906
The Thule 9906 electrical adapter is a practical and essential component for correctly connecting your vehicle's towbar to accessories such as a bike rack, trailer, or other equipment that uses the modern 13-pin system. This conversion adapter allows you to connect a 7-pin plug to the 13-pin socket of a more modern towbar without any complex wiring modifications. The Thule 9906 electrical adapter thereby ensures the proper function of lights, indicators, and other electrical circuits.
Key Features of the Thule 9906 Electrical Adapter
- Allows you to connect bike racks and other accessories with a 13-pin plug to an older vehicle with a 7-pin socket
- Simple connection without interfering with the vehicle's electrical system; just plug the adapter between the socket and the plug, no extra rewiring or installation needed
- The design is adapted for outdoor use and common environmental factors (moisture, impacts, etc.)
- Maintains the function of lights and signals, allowing for the correct operation of indicators, brake lights, and other electrical functions when an accessory is connected
- The Thule 9906 electrical adapter is ideal not only for Thule bike racks but also for other towing components that use 13 pins
Compatibility:
Vehicle with a 7-pin towbar socket (older standard)
Accessory with a 13-pin connector (e.g., bike racks, older trailers, electrical equipment for towing systems)
