Laptop battery with branded components

Battery made of high quality components
The battery is a sophisticated electronic with double protection that controls the charging of individual cells, and provides overcharge and discharge protection. An AVACOM battery is a good replacement for your original battery.
How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory but its capacity and performance are initially below 100% so you should charge it for at least 12hrs before use. To extend the life-span of the battery, it is recommended that you repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. Battery capacity reduces when left permanently plugged-in to the power supply, so it is recommended that you disconnect the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it fully charged in a dry place, and charge it at least once in 6 mths.
What damages the battery
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is completely discharging your battering and not using it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C, and if it is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only after it has returned to room temperature. Only use the battery in the device for which it is intended, be careful that it is not subject to a short circuit or too-high discharge current, and protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
