Laptop batteries with premium cells

The AVACOM company now brings notebook batteries built from PANASONIC and SONY high-capacity cells. These batteries have the same dimensions and weight but up to 32% more capacity than the original battery. For example, a 6-cell battery with an original capacity of 4400mAh has a capacity of 5800mAh with the new cells. The cells from which these batteries are assembled have a longer service life than most types of cells used by renowned laptop manufacturers.

Batteries made of high quality components

The batteries contain a sophisticated electronic component with double protection. This section controls the charging of individual cell strings and also protects them from overcharging and over-depletion. With these batteries that contain high-capacity cells, the notebook's battery life will noticeably increase, so you do not have to travel with the AC adapter even for longer meetings.

How to keep the battery in good condition

The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. Permanent connection to the power supply reduces the capacity of the battery, so we recommend that you disconnect the device from the power supply from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and check it after approximately six months.

What causes damage to the batteries

One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you deplete completely and do not use it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
