AVACOM Battery for Accu Tools - Made of High-quality Components
Batteries from the AVACOM company have only high-quality cells that provide high performance and long service life. The batteries are equipped with gold-plated connectors and the latest control electronics for trouble-free communication with the tool. At the same time, they contain a number of safety features that prevent overcharging, under-charging, over-current charging and short-circuit. The AVACOM batteries are not only a good replacement for your original battery - most batteries offer more capacity (therefore more power) than an original battery.
How to Keep the Battery in Good Condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times before the first use. The capacity of the battery gets reduced the more it stays connected to the power supply, so we recommend that you disconnect the tool from the power supply from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and check and recharge it after approximately six months.
What Damages the Batteries?
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you do not use it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subjected to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
