Laptop batteries with premium cells
AVACOM now comes with notebook batteries built from PANASONIC and SONY high capacity batteries. These batteries have the same dimensions and weight, yet provide up to 32% more capacity than the original battery. For example, a 6-cell battery with an original capacity of 4400mAh is now available with these new 5800mAh cells. Articles from which these batteries are assembled have a longer life than most types used by renowned laptop manufacturers.
Batteries made of high quality components
The battery contains sophisticated electronics with double protection. This section controls the charging of individual cell strings and also protects them from overcharging and subtraction. With batteries that contain high-capacity cells, the notebook's battery life will noticeably increase, so you do not have to travel with the AC adapter for long appointments.
How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. Battery capacity reduces with permanent connection to the power supply, so we recommend that you disconnect the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and check it every six months.
What causes damage to the batteries
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you drop power down completely and do not use it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
