How to keep the battery in good condition

Permanent connection to a power supply reduces the capacity of the battery, so it is recommended to disconnect the device from the source of electric power from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and check it after approximately six months.

What harms the batteries

One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you deplete it completely and do not use it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Use the battery only with the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.

Tuto baterii jsem již zakoupil (u jiného prodejce) a tato "nová" baterie měla úplně stejnou výdrž, jako ta stará (cca 2-3 dny). To je údajně způsobeno tím, že tyto baterie leží roky na policích a tím také ztrácí svou životnost. V recenzích tady na Alze však lidé baterii chválí. Rád bych se zeptal, je tedy třídenní životnost závada, základě které bych měl nárok na výměnu za jiný kus? Děkuji
