Laptop battery with premium cells
AVACOM are now manufacturing high-capacity laptop batteries with PANASONIC and SONY cells. These batteries have the same dimensions and weight as the original power sources, but with up to 32% more capacity. For example, a 6-cell battery with an original capacity of 4,400mAh is now available at 5,800mAh. Avacom's batteries have a longer life than most batteries used by renowned laptop manufacturers.
Batteries made using high-quality components
The battery is a sophisticated piece of electronics with double protection. This section controls the charging of individual cells and protects them from overcharging or over-discharging. With batteries that contain high-capacity cells, your laptop's battery life will noticeably increase, so you won't have to take your AC adapter everywhere you go.
How to keep your battery in top condition
The battery is only partially charged at the factory, so when unpacked its capacity and performance are below 100%. For optimal battery performance, it is recommended to fully charge then discharge your battery at least 3 times. A battery's capacity is reduced when it is constantly connected to the power supply, so we recommend that you disconnect the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and recharge it every six months or so.
What causes damage to batteries?
One of the most common causes of battery damage is when you deplete it completely and don't use it for a long time. Also, exposing batteries to temperatures above 60°C or below 5°C will cause them harm. Only ever charge your laptop at room temperature and only use the battery with the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subjected to short circuits or power surges and protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
