How to keep the battery in good condition
 

How to keep the battery in good condition

When the battery is made, it is partially charged, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the full charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. A permanent connection to the power supply diminishes the battery's capacity so we recommend that you disconnect the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and check and recharge it approximately every six months.

What damages the batteries

One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you lay it aside completely discharged and don't use it for a long time. Don't expose the battery to temperatures over 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery with the devices it is intended for. Also make sure that the battery does not suffer short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.

Dobrý den, chtěl bych se prosím zeptat, zda tato baterie je kompatibilní s notebookem Toshiba Satellite T130 - 10G, napětí se zdá být stejné jak u originální baterie, tj. 10,8V, kapacita je však vyšší. Proto bych se chtěl prosím zeptat, zda to není na škodu a fungovat by měla? Děkuji moc za odpověď.

Dobry den, Zaujimalo by ma, ci je mozne tuto bateriu pouzit taktiez do L735-10M - sice to vyrobca nejak extra neuvadza, no niektore baterie u konkurencie su s popisom L750aj L735, tak neviem, ci mozem usudit, ze aj tato pojde aj do L735 alebo nie... Dakujem, Erik

To s tím zformátováním jste opsali doporučení výrobce, nebo jen dále šíříte mezi lidmi zažitý a velmi rozšířený omyl? Nebo proč tam proboha píšete že by se měla tato baterie alespoň 3x zformátovat když se nejedná o baterii NiMH pro které se to samozřejmě doporučuje ale Li-on. Úplné vybytí je úplně ta nejhorší věc kterou můžete Li-once provést. Tím jí zkracujete životnost úplně nejvíce. Rovněž pro ní není až tak úplně dobré aby se nabíjela až do plného stavu příliš často a dlouho jí v něm udržovala. Baterie s články Li-on nemají paměťový efekt a jsou svou životností a kapacitou naprosto nezávislé na nějakém přerušování či nabíjení od prostředka a počtu přerušení nabíjení či počtu nabíjení již od samého počátku kdy jsou vyrobeny. Prostě akorát stárnutím a nevhodným zacházením ztrácejí na životnosti a kapacitě. Nevhodné je pro ně je nabíjet když jsou teplé,když jsou chladnější než 5°C, nechávat je vybít úplně a nabíjet je až do plného stavu příliš často.
