AXAGON PCIA-S2 PCI

The AXAGON PCIA-S2 PCI expansion card expands your desktop computer with two full-fledged standard RS-232? serial ports with DB-9 connectors.
Seamless compatibility and a wide range of porting options are ensured by the use of the proven MOSChip chipset.
Low profile bracket inserts are included to fit the adapter into low profile cases.

Input:
PCI 2.3 interface, 32bit, 33MHz

Output:
2x RS-232 serial ports with DB9 male connectors (ports are located on card bracket)

Properties:
Plug and Play Support - Automatic selection of IRQ interrupt and I/O addresses.
PCI IRQ sharing support.
Re-Map IO Address support - LPT port address setting (this feature is supported only in DOS).
256-Byte transmit & receive FIFO buffer for each port.
Adjustable flow control Xon/Xoff, hardware or not.
Adjustable word length of 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 bits.
Adjustable parity (even, odd, none, mark, space), 1, 1.5 or 2 stop bits.
Supports TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DCD, DSR, RI serial signals.
9-bit data transfer support.
Support for connecting serial devices such as ATMs, cash registers, barcode readers, CNC machines, tablets, POS, PDAs, etc.
Uses ASIX chipset (formerly MOSChip) MCS9865IV-AA.
Maximum baud rate of RS232 driver up to 120kBd.
Compatible with 16C450/16C550/Extended 16C550/Enhanced Mode UART.
Backward compatibility with PCI buses, revisions 2.2 and 2.1.
Power supply 3.3V and 5V.

Supported Operating Systems:
MS DOS 6.22, MS Windows 98SE/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 and later, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016 and later (supported by all 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows) Linux 2.6.14 and above.

Package contains:
PCI card with standard bracket, two low profile brackets, printed installation instructions in English, Czech, Slovak and Polish, packed in cardboard box.
