This filter has a special low sleeve and is for wide-angle lenses with front thread. The filter is unique in that, unlike other brands, the glass retains a thick 1.3mm, the same as in conventional F-PRO filters. The Nano coating associated with XS-Pro filters provides an additional eighth layer over the MRC, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency. The principle of the lotus effect also repels moisture and dust. UV filters prevent ultraviolet radiation from being penetrated (not visible to the naked eye), therefore their application is especially recommended when shooting at higher altitudes where the UV radiation is higher. The advantage is their clearness, therefore there is no noticeable change in light intensity and the photographs are not affected by the application of the filter.
