BARRIER Ultra

Replacement cartridge Ultra for BARRIER filter jugs provides 100% removal of the bacteria and other impurities from water coming from natural sources such as springs, lakes or rivers. It removes both organic and inorganic impurities from water, and the layer of special fibres also captures heavy metals and dissolved iron. The filtering layer of activated charcoal is made from coconut shells, and the feldspar layer where the ion exchange takes place, catches heavy metal ions and iron. The unique carbon-impregnated silver (USICT) technology reduces the risk of bacterial growth within the filter cartridge, so you do not need to worry about the quality of the filtered water. The filter is suitable for all types of BARRIER jugs.

Certified product

The filter is tested and certified by the Water Quality Association (NSF/ANSI 42) for reducing aesthetic chlorine, taste and odor; according to NSF/ANSI 53 for the reduction of cadmium, copper and mercury and according to NSF/ANSI 372 for compliance with the Lead Lead Safety Guidelines.
