The BEKO DPY 8506 GXB1 dryer is a modern condensing dryer with a very low power consumption, sixteen programs and a heat pump. The dryer holds up to 8 kilograms of laundry at a time and falls into the energy class A +++. The easy-to-use LCD display and rotary selector makes it easy to operate. The main advantage of this dryer is the heat pump drying system.

Condensing drying with heat pump

The heat pump cycle consists of evaporation, compression and condensation of the refrigerant. At the beginning, the refrigerant in the evaporator is in the liquid state. The temperature of the humid air coming from the drum is higher than the boiling point of the refrigerant. The refrigerant starts to evaporate and condenses air humidity to cool and drains into the collecting bowl.

The compressor sucks the refrigerant vapor it compresses. Condensing heat then heats the air sucked by the fan. The heated dry air returns to the drum, where the moisture builds up. This cycle is repeated continuously in a closed circuit.
