The Beoplay M5 is a powerful speaker that can work standalone or you can connect it to other speakers in several rooms. It supports Chromecast and Beolink Multiroom that allow it to stream audio in any room. The Beoplay M5 also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and Apple AirPlay wireless technology. It features plenty of options how to play your favourite music, so there's something for everyone. This speaker model can be easily paired with the Beoplay A6 and A9 models, which also belong to this unique design line.

The speaker is equipped with True360 sound, allowing you to enjoy the same high-quality audio no matter where the speaker is located. How is it possible? The Beoplay M5 actually consists of a 5" woofer, 1.5" midrange speaker and three tweeters. This exquisite speaker configuration was developed in cooperation with Bang & Olufsen.
An essential part of the product is also the mobile app that you can download and install on your smartphone or tablet. The app allows you to easily adjust the audio parameters to achieve the best quality possible. In the app you can, for example, optimise the sound settings to match to the speaker position, so it doesn’t matter where you put it. You can place it in a corner, somewhere in open space or next to a wall and the audio will always remain perfect.
Modern and functional design
The Beoplay M5 attracts attention at first glance, thanks to its beautiful design by Cecilie Manz. The top is fitted with an aluminium disc and the speaker body is covered with a fabric made by the renowned Danish textile manufacturer, Kvadrat. This means it can easily blend into any interior—at least until you start the music playback. The aluminium disc on the top is beautiful to look at and pleasant to the touch, but also highly practical—it responds to touch, so it allows you to not only control the volume, but also pause music or pair your mobile devices.
