Blaupunkt DVR BP 3.0 is a car video recorder that features a GPS module that can record the route, elapsed time and speed of the vehicle. This recorder will provide evidence material for the police or insurance companies should an accident happen. The Blaupunkt company also provides software with intuitive user interface that allows you to analyze your data in detail. In addition, the data is synchronized with the recorded material. This means that not only is this car video recorder capable of recording, but it also provides a detailed record analysis.

DVR BP 3.0 records in Full HD

This model features a wide-angle 140° lens which makes it possible to capture almost the entire view in front of the vehicle. The integrated 2Mpx CMOS sensor offers a high-quality and detailed image. Recordings can be saved in Full HD (30fps), however, there are other recording modes available. Blaupunkt DVR BP 3.0 is operated by a 2.7" HD TFT LCD display. In addition, it also shows the recorded image in real time. The display can be also used for replaying your recordings.

The recorder stores footage in a loop. The length of the loop can be set according to your needs within a range of 1.3 or 5 minutes. Should the memory card run out of storage space, the oldest records will be automatically overwritten. Individual files can be secured by the SOS feature that will protect your recording from being automatically overwritten. These files can only be deleted by connecting the recorder to a computer by the user.

Car video recorder with practical features

The correct functionality of the camera is guaranteed by the 1LUX lighting. The footage captured by Blaupunkt DVR BP 3.0 is so deailed that you can easily identify people, cars and their license plates, even in poor lighting conditions. There are also a G-sensor and motion detector that make sure that the recording only starts when a moving object appears in front of the lens. This feature can be used to turn the recorder on. The device can also be turned on automatically when the ignition is switched on (the power cord must be plugged in) or manually by using a button. 

It is also possible to use the mode for taking photos up to 12Mpx. The recorder also features a microphone and a speaker, which means the recorded video comes with sound. The memory card slot supports microSD cards up to 64GB. The power supply is provided by a microUSB cable and a car charger included in the package. A great advantage is a miniHDMI connector for transferring high-quality video and audio to compatible devices.
